A tunnel - the oldschool way. August 13, 2007 at 1:35 pm
Last night I came across an old snippet - an oldschool tunnel effect. It´s created by using 2 lookup tables. ´Cause this effect is processed pixel by pixel each line, the whole effect runs (a bit) slowly. Anyhow, you could built up the whole thing using DisplacementMapFilter´s to enhance the performance (and yes, it´s a 100% performance-boost), but let us just test the new flashplayer and execute that dusted lines 1:1. What a nice rehabilitation of inherited waste… (launch it.)
