Deformer. September 24, 2008 at 10:43 pm

Right after John Nack mentioned my works with Pixel Bender, I decided to create another shader (to use with Flash10). Once again I dealed with stretching and morphing an image, ´cause those kind of filters always come to very surreal and funny results (from my point of view).

deformer pbj.filter for flash10
Launch
|| Sources (…flash player 10 needed!)

In this case I automated the xy-movement, so the shader feeds himself with fresh pixels. You can switch the deformation-mode ( 3 modes actually ) by simply clicking on the stage.

deformer pbj.filter for flash10
Launch
|| Sources (…flash player 10 needed!)

Needless to say and pretty nice as well, that applying the deformer-shader on the whole image costs no speed at all (30 fps from 30 fps preset).

By the way, this entry will be the last one for the moment ´cause I´m going to Scotland for the next 2 weeks. I know it´s kinda stupied timing, due to the fact that “flash on the beach” is coming up, “But, Hey”, I necessarily need vacation, so enjoy Brighton like I will enjoy the Highlands.
