FOTB anyone? July 12, 2009 at 5:01 pm

…just a brief note that I´m, again at last, visiting this years Flash on the beach too. Being there in 2007 for the first time left the very magnificent impression up to day that it was one of the best conferences I´ve been to. And maybe there´s the chance to show some of my Metaballs 3D, -BlobMesh, -VoroSphere, -Bubbles stuff at this years “Elevator Pitch” (fingers crossed!).

See you?

Post from Iceland. July 4, 2009 at 3:27 pm

Today I got post from Rebekka Gudleifs which send me a  sweater she knitted by herself. Well, it fits like a glove but I´ll abandon wearing it the next two summer months. Guess what, woolen stuff is quite a bit too sweat-inducing in the summer - even in Germany! Just wanted to give thanks ´cause I like it a lot altough it doesn´t look so gracile when I put it on as if Rebekka is wearing it.

So, if you want some homemade stuff straightaway from Iceland - Rebekka has  a waiting list, but will continue to take orders for some time yet…

What can you achieve in 180kb?

This morning I, once again, stumbled over “.debris“, a demo from German famous demomakers group called farbrausch. Believe it or not, “.debris” is only 180kb small but still so magnificent it´s simply unbelievable. Btw., the tool that stands behind all that magic is called “.werkkzeug” and in case you didn´t know already, it´s free!

So, if you are in a bad mood like I´m today, things like that really make my day!

Where is the loo? October 13, 2008 at 2:52 pm

Thanks to Claas & Bianca we´ve had two absolut fabulous weeks in Scotland. “Gee,” this country is gorgeous. Visiting all those well-known tourist attractions like Loch Ness for instance was quite obligatory.

Furthermore we discovered a lot of deceased beautiful places: Landscapes, moors and loch´s, all of perfect to recover from everydays stress. One of my favourites definitely was Lochindorb. This little lake is located right in the middle of nowhere within the Grampian Highlands.

So, after 14 days of relaxation and easing I´m impatient to concern all those little actionscript snippets and -effects wich occured to me during the last 2 weeks. Finally, if you ever intend to visit Scotland, I really can recommend the Feith Mhor Lodge to you. Very nice people and an opulent breakfast sweeten your day there. And, as nice spin-off, I now know what loo means (…never heared that term before).

Want more? I stored the first bunch of photos on my flickr account.

Cheers
